Hello all,

I need help on using Vertical Spry Menu Bar…
My situation is the Menu Bar does not appear straight below the main tab (the source of tab is an image), and it changes the position of the all the other tabs.

The following links are the modified file and the original file:
http://www.ultimatewingchun.com.au/test.html
http://www.ultimatewingchun.com.au/original.html

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pete

Put the rest of your nav menu items into a proper list, as you do your sub-menu, and you might get somewhere.

I'll also point out that you are re-suing IDs on your page. You cannot do this. ID's MUST be UNIQUE on a page. If you must re-use, make it class instead of an ID.

Thanks for the comment. I don't quite get it. Can you explain a little more?
I don't think I re-use any ID, the only possible that I have reused is ul and li, which is in the orginal style sheet, but there is very little on that.

html, body, ul, li {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
list-style: none;
}

Oh, but you did...

<div class="style3" id="headline">

<div class="style3" id="body">
<div id="body-main">

<div class="style3" id="headline">
<p class="style5">&nbsp;</p>
</div>

<div class="style3" id="body">
<div id="body-main">
..and so on.

As to your menu, you have this:

Quote:
<div id="nav">
<a href="home.html"><img src="images/m_home.jpg" width="89" height="41" alt="Home"></a>
<a href="history.html"><img src="images/m_green_history.jpg" width="88" height="41" alt="History"></a>
<a href="about.html"><img src="images/m_instructors.jpg" width="89" height="41" alt="History"></a>

<ul id="MenuBar1" class="MenuBarVertical">

<li><a class="MenuBarItemSubmenu" href="#">Item 1</a>
<ul>
<li><a href="#">Item 1.1</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Item 1.2</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Item 1.3</a></li>
</ul>
</li>

<li><a href="#">Item 2</a></li>
<li><a class="MenuBarItemSubmenu" href="#">Item 3</a>
<ul>
<li><a class="MenuBarItemSubmenu" href="#">Item 3.1</a>
<ul>
<li><a href="#">Item 3.1.1</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Item 3.1.2</a></li>

</ul>
</li>
<li><a href="#">Item 3.2</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Item 3.3</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><a href="#">Item 4</a></li>

</ul>

<a href="system.html"><img src="images/m_system.jpg" width="89" height="41" alt="System"></a>
<a href="personal_training.html"><img src="images/m_personal_training.jpg" width="89" height="41" alt="Personal Training"></a>
<a href="gallery.html"><img src="images/m_gallery.jpg" width="89" height="41" alt="Gallery"></a>
<a href="club_fun.html"><img src="images/m_club_fun.jpg" width="89" height="41" alt="Club Fun"></a>
<a href="contact.html"><img src="images/m_contact.jpg" width="89" height="41" alt="Contact"></a>

</div>
Those links in red, need to be in a list, like those other links
Quote:
<ul>
<li> <a href="home.html"><img src="images/m_home.jpg" width="89" height="41" alt="Home"></a></li>
<li><a href="history.html"><img src="images/m_green_history.jpg" width="88" height="41" alt="History"></a> </li>
<li><a href="about.html"><img src="images/m_instructors.jpg" width="89" height="41" alt="History"></a></li>
