I presume you mean IE6? It only supports the hover pseudo-selector on a. Your hover rules for the menus to return from left don't specify a in the return to the viewable display, so IE keeps them left.

Correct the spelling on this, too:

#mainmenu a {

display:blodk;}

You also have unclosed params in your HTML.
