heelloo everyone!

i need some help with this navigation bar im working on, its a fixed width (and height) DIV box, and inside are around 8 or 9 links. I need them spaced equally between one and another.

[LINK 1 --- LINK 2 --- LINK 3 --- LINK 4 --- LINK 5 --- LINK 6 --- LINK 7]

how would i go about this in CSS? should i try UL / IL, or SPAN, or ... ?

anyway this is running off "Drupal", and that is my menu ^.
Those links in my navigation bar that i need spaced out would be the "primary links" as drupal would call them.

add padding-left/right: Xpx; to the LI

so;

ul li {
padding-right:5px;
}

will that not affect the first and last link as well? I want the very left and right links to be justified to the left and right correspondingly.

just wondering, i dont have the website with me so i cant test it now.

Standard compliant browsers will allow the use of first-child, etc. selectors.
