I looked at it with IE6, and didn't see this behavior at all. I maximized it, shrunk it, minimized it, restored it, the bottom half of the page stays put.

** edit ** I do, however, see the strangeness in Opera at full screen.

Thanks for the reply, I've just tested in different resolutions and have noticed a difference! It's fine at 1024 and 1280 by 768, but at 1680 x 1050 and 1366 x 768 that's when it messes up, how random!

Could it be that it's basically just unfixable without re-thinking the way the main elements of the site are laid out??

Quick update, I think I've figured out that it appears in IE6 and 7 when the resolution is over 1280px wide! How confusing!!

Does seem a bit odd. I've never run into that, but then, I don't have uber-high resolutions available to me either.
