hi

i use a windows vista laptop, i have ie7 and other latest browsers, i need to test how my html pages look in ie6 on my laptop.

can anyone suggest any solution where in i can test my html pages developed locally on my laptop to see how it will look in ie6 without having to

upload my html and css files to any website rather test it locally.

please advice.

I use IE Tester. It's the easiest way to test sites in multiple versions of IE.

hi

thanks for replying

i am downloading ie tester from
http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePage

after i download the set up file when i run the set up file i get the

following error

i have tried deleting the set up file and downloaded the setup file,

deleted browser cache, but i still keep getting this error.

i am using a laptop with windows vista

i have also tried downloading software from
http://www.debugbar.com/download.php
but when i run a page in ie browser and select "View in IE6" i get a message that IETester is not installed.

can someone provide a solution for this i need to test web pages in ie6

please advice.

I thought it worked with Windows Vista. I have it installed on XP at the moment, so I'm not really sure what the problem might be. All I can think is to try the download again, but you said that didn't work.

You might get better help with this posting to the forum on the debugbar site since they will be more familiar with the program and what might have gone wrong.

Try http://tredosoft.com/Multiple_IE , I use this on XP for older versions. I'm not to sure how it works with vista.
