Hi All,

I've created a dropdown menu based on the suckerfish menu, but it doesn't seem to look right in IE but looks great in FireFox.

here is the site:

www.modenafinefoodsdev.hostzi.com

There is a 5 px padding from the left I would like to use to align the category and list beneath it, but it doesn't seem to work in ie 7.

Can someone please provide a little assistance?

Let me know if you would like for me to provide any thing else.

What version on IE are you using? I tried the site in IE6 and the menus arent working. Also, unless im going blind, I didnt see a difference in FF 3.5 and IE 8.

Sorry, should have specified, I am using IE 7.

Also, I now got it to work in FireFox 3 and Chrome so that it looks the way I want.

Thanks for looking into it, I am not too concerned that IE 6 doesn't work with the menu, but that's very interesting so thanks for pointing it out.

You're right though, it's working in IE 8...

Any ideas on what could be the issue in IE 7 though?

here's a URL again where it looks funky in IE.

Sure thing, you bet..but I'd definitely still code for IE6 as there are still people who use it even though its older. The enterprise I work for (govt) still uses IE6 because of standards. so, just keep that in mind. theres an app called multipleIE , try that, it will install older versions of ie so you can have like ie4-ie6 on top of the ie7 or 8 as well as firefox and chrome. good luck.

You're right, I should take into consideration ie6.

I will definitely need a dropdown menu however, does anyone have one really great example of one that works smoothly cross browsers?

You can make dropdowns work in IE6 - there are many here;
