I want the four columns centered without screwing up the rest of the site. It should be pretty straight forward with what I'm trying to do once you see it.

When you float an element, you MUST give it WIDTH. Set the 4 columns to a width of 25% and they will be equal. Set your column container to overflow: auto to clear the floated columns.
