I have a sub navigation box with rounded corners in my left column:

how can i get my blue button which is currently sitting underneath this box to sit centred in this box?

Do you want that blue button in side the darker blue above the white ?

If you want it centered horizontally, remove the float:left. You can't combine that with margin: 0 auto; and have it center.

i want it to sit in the creme rounded box, so on top of it.

Set the Left column width 25% & middle column width 70%.. It 'll work..

Confused. Ok so that worked to the extent that my image moved to where it was meant to go, but still, I want my left column to be at about 23%.. is it just because of the size of the button image?!
