How can i get my css links to stay highlighted in the way they do when you hover over them, once clicked. Problem is, they are not in a seperate frame.

Cheers!

Set the :active and :hover pseudoclasses. That will override the default browser behavior.

what EXACTLY are you trying to do??

don't forget once the link has been clicked the browser will have moved to a different page so the link is no longer "active"

that's what i mean, i want the link to remain in the hover state when the new page has been clicked, indicating which page you are on.

Then you have to use some scripting serverside or clientside to change the class of the link to the current page. Or manually set a class to the relevant link on each page.
