anyone noticing slow css loads on websites lately. maybe it’s just my ISP but every now and then pages will load for just a sec w/o css. then the css kicks in. weird. just started happening a few weeks ago on random websites. perhaps it’s my firefox??

css is a same document as other (html, images).
I don't see a reason of slow css loading expect other.
Have you any plugins to process of loaded css?

It is called a Flash Of Unstyled Content (FOUC)

FOUC usually happens when you're using the @import instead of the link method to call your stylesheets.

Using link would do parallel downloads, probably making it faster.
