Well this could also go in the PHP section too but I feel it's better here... So I've been trying to learn how to use CSS for awhile but I seem to continue getting stopped by many problems. I'm looking to start fresh again since I've been doing this for a week and gosh, am I tired.

That's my layout...

I would like some suggestions on how I should style this with CSS... Like should I make 1 div for the header. One for each of those sidebar attachment things? I have no idea on what to do with that "extra" space that isn't being filled with text. Some assistance is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Love this. The boxes on the right give it just enough color.

I attached how I'd set it up. As far as the actual sidebar buttons, I would use img tags and assign classes to them rather then use ids.

Awesome thanks for that help! I just got two questions: the div content area is th white area and div menu is the menu right? Shouldn't there also be div for the header area?

Yes. I did put one in there but evidently Illustrator cropped off the top and I didn't notice.
