As we all know, there are two ways we can implement the CSS on a website. There are Inline CSS and External CSS methods. Some people claimed the Inline CSS will process faster as the codes are embedded into the HTML codes itself. Is it true? Also, is there any impact on the page size?

Actually I am a newbie, please help me to understand better. I'll appreciate your comments very much.

No! it's complete drivel!!!!

The people who come out wich such things have little or no idea on how the DOM parser works.

If anything external style sheets or embedded styles will be processed slightly quicker than inline, as the browser can parse and create ALL The rules for the DOM at one run.

However in reality the differences will be miniscule for processing speed

Plus, external styles get cached, so when you hit page#2 using the same stylesheet it will load that much faster.

I think the site you was reading is about 10 years old when everyone was using 56k modems. Its complete tosh!
