my question is about :active class not working in opera only on a mac

i have a top menu and a submenu, when i click on the links the position of the links go does so when i click on a link it appears that the link is moving down

all this works in all browsers except for opera on a mac and only for the top menu

i am using a sprite image to display the text or the top menu and submenu and also using the same sprite to display the effect that the text is moving down using background-position following is the code

the effect does not work for top menu only on opera on a mac
