Hi, I'm playing around with a layout for a site and have run into a few problems with the footer (especially on IE7)

Here is a link to the rough layout

It (nearly) displays correctly with the exception that the "terms" and "contact" link are displaying too low on the footer.

Now, in IE7, the whole of the footer is "stuck" halfway up the page behind the rest of the content...

Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong??

I've inspected your layout with firebug (the problem with tos and contact ). You ul holder for those links has an extra padding. You shoud try reset it( declare on #menufooter padding:0)

I removed that completely but the footer appears half way down the page in Ie7 only...

Every other browser is fine.

Darren, you need to clear the floats, the #wrapper is not containing the floated elements inside it. add overflow:auto; to #wrapper is my usual method for fixing that.

Ok, that seems to make the page appear in a frame with the header not actually moving?! Very strange!

Ok, this is REALLY driving me mad! Here is a link to the real page

All of the other pages are fine so I'm assuming its the horizontal grey boxes that are whats causing the problems as this is just a variation of the other pages.

Just to re-cap, the credit card logos and site map is displaying halfway down the page in what appears to be IE7 only.

I'm REALLY lost with this!
