Hey,

I am having some issues with the way my website looks in IE. I have tried to contain each section in a main div but in IE this doesn’t seem to work. I have tried giving the divs a max width. I have also tried to create a separate stylesheet for IE only but this didn’t work. If you look at the site in Firefox and then IE the problem becomes apparent.

My website is http://www.directnailsupplies.com

The css can be found here: http://www.directnailsupplies.com/stylesheet.css
And the html is here: http://www.directnailsupplies.com/HTML.txt
Thanks for all your help
James

Ok the problem is the height that is set on #linksbottom

use the developer tools in IE to test it (Press F12)

Thank you that has sorted the problem with the top links, however I am still having issues below them on the left. The links should go under the search header but it just stays to the right. Which is then pushing all the other divs right.

Thanks
James

Try giving the div a width and see if that helps. I don't have IE8 here to look at it.

I've changed the width to lots of different lengths but it hasn't made any difference. I'll have to go back and re do it and see what causes the problem!
