Is there a way to prevent viewing of my CSS file? Permission don't really work... I just don't want public access to the file for view.

No you can't prevent it from being viewed.

Because I didn't want people seeing my CSS.

I highly doubt that anything you're writing for CSS could be considered 'proprietary' and unless you're one of the CSS gurus that are pushing the envelope, you're not doing anything groundbreaking either
