However my results keep ending up like the attached... no rounded corners and missing a bit of the styling. What have I missed? I'm new to CSS

If you used the jQuery script, you'll have to download the jQuery code first. There's also a link to the Javascript file in the link you shared. Also, make sure you made an image for the button.

jQuery isn't necessary. Not all browsers support CSS3 features, most notably IE, so which browser are you using that's not showing the corners?

Firefox 4, and chrome. Haven't tried anything else. Not sure whats wrong...
