I agree with your point, may there is something in your site isn't compatible with different browsers, and you can't find the errors by your eyes. At this time the W3C validator system will help you a lot

The only validator I have ever used is the w3 validator at http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ but I almost always get errors on my sites and I honestly have never worried about it. The best method is testing; I think, as long as the site works well in all browsers ... no harm no foul .

Well just because things work now doesnt mean they will work well in the future. The point of CSS validation I think is to future proof your site for changes in the way future browser versions operate. As long as your code sticks to 3WC principles you should be golden.

All sites, in particular, has built a new CSS and HTML tricks and techniques may be errors in the W3C, but usually does not matter. I think you should check your sites CSS validator only to detect errors in a rough style of the file.

I am having little bit knowledge about css.. Can you tell anyone how to validate css..
