Hello Everyone,
I have a page that uses the :focus and :active state to control a background image which uses two different looks, not bold and bold.
The page has a content slider which as you mouse over an item, the image switches to bold and when you click, should remain in its bold state until a different item is selected.
:focus and :active seem to be ignored by Chrome and Safari.

Works in:
IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, and Opera
This effect however does not work in Google Chrome or Safari. I am hoping someone here could offer a solution.
