Is there an way to make a image link and use absolute postion to place it exactly were u want it. i know how to do it with text and img but does it work with image link?

Any help is good help thanks :P

position: absolute; is NOT the way to do this. It is NOT necessary and will NOT give the reults you expect UNLESS you actually understand positioning FULLY

Use the document flow, and move it if necessary by adjusting margins, etc.

This article, from the stickies in this subforum, does a good job of identifying when and when not to use absolute positioning.

I dunno, it would seem to that using position:absolute would be a good way to absolutely position something :-).

I actually use all the time and have never found it to give a lot of trouble. And it's definitely quicker and simpler than having to start calculating document flow and margins etc etc

It is. The point is that it's usually NOT necessary at all!
IE7 and below specifically has problems with positioning and z-index, causing all sorts of ugly things to happen.
