HI,

Please let me know where I mistook.

This is what I am trying

HTML Code:

    {
        padding:5px 15px 5px 20px;
        color:#FFFFFF;
        font-family:'Arial', Helvetica, sans-serif;
        font-size:12px;
        text-decoration:none;
        font-weight:bold;

Sure, it was due to the another css I included......

HTML Code:
body {
    font:normal 62.5%/1.5 Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
    letter-spacing:0;
    color:#434343;
    background:#efefef url(../img/background.png) repeat top center;
    padding:20px 0;
    position:relative;
    text-shadow:0 1px 0 rgba(255,255,255,.8);
    -webkit-font-smoothing: subpixel-antialiased;
}
I removed it.

It's not a good idea at all to use text-shadow in the body tag.
