Alright I don't think there's an easy way to do this but I figured I'd ask you all to make sure.

I'm designing a website for my uncle's restaurant right now and he wants the font to be similar to what's on the menu, but the two fonts aren't typical Windows/Mac fonts so is there a way to force a font download so the text will be viewed in the correct font? I don't really want to use images for text, so should I just tell him to forget that font?

They won't appear in IE 8 and below, thought I just mention it.

Thanks. I guess all the other browsers will just have to deal with it.

It might be worth checking the license agreement of the font as a lot are not suitable to be used in this way. I doubt anyone would check but it is worth noting.
