I want to re-organize my website adding 3 columns with css. the left nav, the body, and the right nav., but when i put float right on the right nav the body box goes shorter and sometimes it moves to the bottom and the footer moves to a different location.

i hope the forum can understand what im trying to say.

thanks

We really need either all the code, or we need a URL to the problem.
The easiest way to accomplish this is the faux columns method, check our stickies.

Tons of 3-cols-layout tuts out there.

Even DynamicDrive has some nice ones (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/layouts/category/C10/)

Dreamweaver 3 is pretty old, MX (dreamweaver 5 I think) came out 4-5 years ago. It might not have very good support for style sheets.

I recommend just creating your HTML using a text editor and previewing it using a regular browser.

If you have any issues, I can try to help you with them, but I would need to see the code itself.

You can get more info on all the tags and css code from the W3C at http://www.w3schools.com/
