i am using a center layout for my website i am using a cms

my webpages contains bit of text and few images i have a jquery slideshow, another jquery plugin to scroll items and in some other pages other jquery related plugins not many just about 1 or 2 and the remaining is text and few images

the issue i am having is only in firefox 3.6.8 on windows when i click on a link to go to another page what happens is the entire page content with text, images starts from the top left edge of the browser and appears with no css styles and in just few seconds the entire layout appears in the center with the css styles applied and appears normally like in any other browser

this drift of the layout from left edge to appearing in the center is only for few seconds after this the page appears normally

any reason why only firefox is having this issue and no other browser

Let me guess.. you're using @import for your stylesheets???

If so, what you're seeing is known as the "flash of unstyled content' - FOUC.

If you're not using @import, than we can only GUESS since you have not provided a link to the problem page.

i am not using any @imports

i am calling css files using link tags and few script tags

in my page i have few script tags and then i have a css file using link tag that has the style for the page content

Can't help you without all of the code or a link to the problem page. Any number of things could be going on.
