SO, I've got this slider thing on my home page that has the following elements.

#slider {
position:absolute; z-index:0;}

now, I need the background-gradient of of the menu to go across like it does on this page -

So that it looks the same on this home page...
http://www.moko.com.php5-21.websitetestlink.com/

Anyone know what the issue is?

You have the #slider inside your #header_color. Make it the other way around. Place the the #header_color inside the #slider.

ohh.. getting SO close, got the transparency to show up, but it's not coming into the full area of the menu like the others... any ideas as to why that is??

Thanks so much for the reply, not sure why I never thought of that but I'm very bad at z index and absolute positioning stuff.
