I have an image I want to place in the background of a website but I dont want to put it in the body tag

How do I do this ???

Is it a layer thing ???

& how do I get that layer behind all my other layers ???

OOoohhh I really am rusty at this - this is what I have so far & it needs some ummmppphhh so I want to place another graphic there in the background as well as the shading which right now is a background graphic

Put it in a div tag that goes around all the content.

Yes. Now make another that encloses that. In the CSS of that div, give it code corresponding to your desired background.

Notice there are two background images? Just use what I did and you'll be fine.
