With more and more designers using CSS for layout, do you think that sites that stretch with the browser are on the way out? Or is there a way to do this with absolute positioning?

you can still create sites that stretch to the width of the browser with css.

My sites do it natively... it's not only absolute positioning that helps, it's also things like floating... if you do it right, it looks good on pretty much any resolution.

I'm still undecided on streched layouts and fixed. I've used both, and am happy with both
