Hi, newbie here.
Started HTML and CSS for the first time late last year. I'm too poor to buy crap like macromedia and too new to the whole downloading scene to bother with cracks, so i code in trusty old notepad.
Generally speaking i can nut through the most difficult problems over a packet of cigarettes, but this one just wont go away.
The Problem:
I have a firefox rendering error on my side-bar DIV and occasionally on my main DIV. There's an inconsistency with a DIV layout and it only seems to happen in firefox (not mozilla or any other browser).
The Layout:
The idea behind the layout is: I have 3 DIVs absolute/relative to each other. The first opens, the second opens (repeat-y), the third opens. Next: (3rd)/div, (2nd)/div, (1st)/div.
The effect is an extendable page with "burnt" edges. The problem is (in firefox anyway) the bottom DIV always renders itself off the mark. If you resize the page it seems to correct itself.
The Challenge:
If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated. Helpful links would even better.
I've asked so many people about this (including professional web designers) and nobody seems to have an inkling. So any ideas or thoughts on the matter aren't going to be laughed at.
This is the site where the problem occurs.
