Hi, I am trying to remove the whitespace that is created by moving a div tag using css.

jazee could you post a link or the code somewhere. There could be a lot of reasons why you're getting whitespace. Is the space inside the div or outside the div. If it's inside it's probably an issue with padding. If it's outside it might be an issue with the margin of the general position of the div.

If you post some code or a link to the code I'll be happy to take a look and see if I can figure out where the whitespace is coming from.

Ok fixed the one whitespace problem. Now maybe you can figure out how to get ride of the whitespace under the 2 pictures.

edit* BTW this only happens in IE. Got to love IE. There is a small band of whitespace after the banner and the image in the main cell.

Ok never mind fixed it. Solution remove the code formating after the <img> down to the next tag. Weird.

IE will render any space before and after the <img ... > tag.
Make sure you leave no gaps in the code
