I can't align my content box next to the latest box. If I use absolute positioning, I lose that box from being a child. I used float: right, but it won't align on the same line as the latest box. Can anyone help me?

if you use float: right on an element, it must precede any elements in the same container in the source code.

yeah. Let latest and content switch places and you're fine.

You could have div tag for main content area and put two boxes inside main content. Both boxes will be on top with same line.
