3 column layout

After wanting to change my layout, my site is pretty much nonexistant right now because for the life of me, I CANNOT figure out how to do a 3 column tableless layout. I have been to many tutorials and still cannot figure it out. All I want is three columns! Is that too hard to ask? haha.

Does anyone have any help/advice for me?

Which one would you suggest? I just use geocities html editor.
I wish I could find a simple code for it.. and then just edit it.
