CSS not working in IE 6

For some reason the CSS in my site for the elements lily (the waterbird), bluebox, titlesmall, and buttons are not working for IE 6. I would use the IE comments that enables the PNG images to insert some different CSS (in the actual head element, so it overrides the
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="phpwcms_template/inc_css/frontend.css">
above it, but I don't know where I went wrong in the 1st place.

I think the problem is that IE6 doesn't understand fixed positioning. I think there are some workarounds I believe, but for your site I think you just want to use position:absolute.

Putting ANYTHING before the DOCTYPE throws IE into quirks mode, try moving the conditional comment.

Position:fixed isn't going to work and making everything absolutely positioned isn't a good idea either, there will be no 'flow' that way.
