Please look at http://general.sc35.info/questions/p.../example5.html in Internet Explorer.
1) You can see that the tabs are split into number of framed parts. I tried to remove these borders in CSS http://general.sc35.info/questions/p...1/example5.css, but without success. Could somebody please help me to remove borders between these parts and the border that separates tabs from tab content below.
2) If you reduce the browser width, the line of tabs will broke into two parts. But you can see that the second line is displaced left. The reason for this is the displacements that I introduced in order to get tabs overlayed. Could somebody help me to fix this while preserving the rest of layout (the overlay)?

Ok I fixed validation problems in html and css.

1) I succeeded to resolve the first problem - I added cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" to the appropriate table.

2) The second problem still persists.

3) Something strange happens to the background of tabs depending on window width - it changes color Any idea?

2) - I see no breakage in Firefox 1.5 or IE 6 on PC, or Opera 9
3) - I don't see this behavior in either of the above either.

So.. what browser are you using where you see this behavior ?
