Ok ... I'm new to both CSS and webmastertalk, so hello everyone.
Now -- I made a jumpmenu in Dreamweaver and hooked it up to a basic .css external sheet. It's working fine for the most part, but I'm annoyed because as soon as the user scrolls to one of the items on the jumpmenu, the page immediately redirects there. I want the user to be able to select an item on the jumpmenu and then click "go" in order to be magically transported to the site.
My user base is not very web saavy, and they will freak out if they accidentally hit an item on the jumpmenu and are suddenly taken off to a new page.
I'm guessing the fix for this has something to do with CSS? Tell me if I'm wrong. Like I said, I'm very new to using anything but oldtime HTML.
Thanks.
