Moved to the right forum now. And like Chris said you can only add background images through css. Sounds like what you want to do is add an image into the html and then style it using css.

You can style img directly or add a class or id to the image and style it that way as well. Which way you choose depends on your particular layout.

However, if you do decide to use a background image, you can use the background-image property in CSS, like so:

.classx {background-image: url('location/imagename.jpg');}
