hi can anyone show me a website without any table(or frame). i know it can be done using <div> but how?

CSS Vault » The Web's CSS Site is a good example. There is also a gallery that showcases other table-less designs.

The page that did it for me and i guess lots of others has gotta be: css Zen Garden: The Beauty in CSS Design

It will help you get started out and show you what can be done by trying it yourself.

CSS Zen Garden is a treasure trove and I learned the most from it by downloading the basic file they offer along with the CSS for the designs I liked. I then picked them apart until I understood what they were doing to get the layout.

I would also recommend the following excellent books:

can any body pls explain what will be the benifit of not using table? actually somebody ask me to do that bcoz others r doing.

Tables were never meant for layout, they were, and are, meant for tabular data.

Just because 'everyone' is doing it does not make it the best way to do things. If everyone jumped off a cliff.. would you follow ???
