it goes like this, i've started with a CSS based free website design, i've tinkered it to my needs, and had to use "them" (lol, tables) to align some div cells that wouldn't align like i want otherwise..... all went well, untill i started filling my left pane where the login form is, i want the fields to be aligned vertically at 100px, and i want to have a 5-6 pixel padding around the content of the login area, but when i put the login area in its place and add the padding or a margin, either
the layout gets gapped between the outer wrapper and the inner wrapper, or the whole form gets messed up visually....

after i solve that alone or with you people, i need help with the color scheme, if you want to see the site, i can zip it up and upload it here

There is just no way we can help you with this unless we can see the code. Adding a table wasn't necessary, I can tell you that w/o looking at it I don't know what kind of alignment you wanted but it's not all that hard.

Stav I agree with the lady above. Definitely need to see some code or better a link to the page if it's online. I'm confident too that a table isn't necessary either. Post some code and/or a link and we'll take a look.
