Anyone know if it's possible to create a rollover effect for images that inverts them in CSS?

invert as in turn upside down or invert as in colours ?

not that it really matters of course 'cos you can't do either with CSS without having previously prepared images.

Get two pictures and then here is a nice tutorial for the css to make this happen.

Thank you for your answers. I found another effect at this website that could have been usable, but it turned out too slow and laggy when I had a lot of images (200+) on one page.
