Does Microosft's Internet Explorer 7 really not support quotes!?

quotes: "« " " »" "'" "'";
}

IE7 is the only Web browser I could find that does not insert « the quotations mark properly. » In fact it does not insert them at all!

Have a look at this blog post in Opera or Firefox and then in IE7.

Suggestions on work around methods?

I'm not seeing any quote marks in FF 2.0 or IE 6. use " and see what you get.

Many browsers don't support the quotes CSS-2 property. Firefox usually enters the quotation marks for q anyway.

I'm not sure if there is a semantically or syntatically correct work around for this.
