This may be a Wordpress problem but i'm pretty sure it's something i left out of/messed up in my styelsheet ebcause everything displays fine on my mac...

In IE/FF on a PC, when i click on the "comments" link for a post, it jumps to the comment form but displays it right underneath the header, hiding all the content above it. Look at the sidebar, it's pushed up under the header... Works fine in Safari/Camino/FF mac though

here's my test setup: http://www.clevelandlunch.com/wordpress

The interesting thing is that it works perfectly when I d/l your page and pull it up locally on FF or IE. So, I suspect it has less to do with your CSS or the browser and more to do with WordPress.

Thanks once again LadynRed, i figured since learning the CSS in what little spare time i have wasn't enough, i'd try to skin WordPress too

Don't suppose there are any WP gurus around here?

Looks like it's a known problem with using Equal height Columns, interesting that it worked locally though (?):

Exactly, I found it odd too. As soon as I brought the page up on my machine, everything was as it should be and not showing the problem at all. I'm afraid I don't know much about WP, sorry. Perhaps ask in the Blogging forum ?

I'm at work so i can't test this (and it's going to be driving me nuts all day!), but i think i may have thought up a workaround, Would this work?

The content & sidebar div are in a wrapper div. So the wrapper div will stretch to fit whichever is longer, the content or the sidebar right? So if i make a make an image the same width as the wrapper with a white box the same width as the content and a box the same color as the sidebar, set to tile vertically it would give the appearance of the sidebar scaling with the content...

Does that make sense? It works out in my head.... Sorry i'm sort of "talking" out loud here...

What you're suggesting is called the 'faux columns' method and it will work very well

Yea, as an avid reader of both ALA and SimpleBits, i'm sure that's where the idea originated in my head.

And here i thought i was so clever!

OK, last question on this stupid theme i swear....

Everything is working fine in every browser but IE6, where the sidebar starts below the content.... What is messing this up? On some pages it seems to display fine, but on the index it's jacked up

Narrow your #content div by 5px and the right #sidebar will snap up. Float drop is caused by IE's busted box model and the way it adds margin and padding to the box widths.
