Does anyone know a good way to center content vertically within a div? e.g. vertical align... Also having it browser compliant and if possible making it validate... now there's a big ask!

You can center a singe line of text by setting the height of the box and the line height to the same number. BUT that only works for a single line.

No, no, .. vertical-align: center does NOT work with CSS.
