Hi all,
okay, i know, the type of rolling image i'm talking about is not a rollover, but i dont know what to call it.
basically, my very demanding clients want me to put an image like so at the top:
http://clinton.k12.mo.us/website
they want the image to move and repeat along with the website. So that if someone has higher resolution, they can view more images.
My problem is that i cant seem to force it to be the exact proportion it needs to be. When using proportions, like 40%, it's either too big and makes you scroll over, like it is now, or it's too small and you get like none of the image.
is there any way to force a crop on the edge of the browser?
also, they want the image to be random, pulled up from a folder and placed in randomly, which, i would like to be able to just drop images into a folder, but i think that's more of a databasing situation, so just giving it preinserted shortcuts would be fine as well.
finally, they want the image to move, like a marquee. :/
i hate to use flash if i dont have to, especially if they want to add more images, later.
any ideas whatsoever?
