I'm pretty new to css. I used to be pretty good at building sites with tables but haven't done any web design in years. Now I've built a site using no tables with css and it works well enough after many start overs and redesigns. The code is clunky but it works in all of the browsers I 've been able to test it in so I don't want to start over once again.
My question is how do I create pop ups to the links on the left side of the page. I'm thinking of a box that pops up like an alt tag that describes the items that the link points to. I don't want to use images and everything I've read about drop down menus deals with lists which as you can see is not what I'm using. All of the links are in div boxes and I want to keep them that way. Can it be done? Any help would be much appreciated.
