In html there is a tag valign=top. is there an equal counter part in css that will do the same. I,m sick of putting that tag in every td tag. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[nitpicking]
There is not a tag of valign. It is an attribute of a opening tag or a HTML element.
[/nitpicking]

It may seem a minor point but it does lead to errors especially when confusing the <title> element with the title attribute of opening tags for visible elements.

Depends what you're trying to align - but, you can try this in CSS: vertical-align: top

It'd be nice if you actually read other posts before posting duplicate entries.
