Is it possible to create a vertical multi-level drop menu based mostly on css?

I`ve been browsing around google, but most heavily involve javascript. The only css drop downs I have found are one level.

I have a lot of content for my new design, a multi level would be perfect for our needs.

Does anyone have some code they can share or know of a website with some examples?

Thank you.

I`m putting together a fluid webpage, so it would be ideal if the menu was full width. It seems the only way to accomplish this would be to create a container underneath with the same background colour as the menu.

I`ve done this, but because of the white border used in the menu, it leaves the background container looking slightly higher, by 1px.

Did I make any sense there?

If not I can upload the template and show what I mean

Me again!

I`m having two issues with this menu (but I love it too!).

Because of the way the top level is designed, each menu is a fixed width. If for example the menu name is a different length, it starts to look a bit odd because the spacing between each menu is different, especially without the border/dividers.

I`m not sure how to remedy this. Would I need to lose the fix width method and change it to padding?

Does anyone understand what I`m asking?!!!

Thanks.
