How can I expand the column height to match the container height (not the view port) automatically using css (example: #col1 height to the height of #content) in this site:
http://www.tutorialsroom.com

I've tried height:100% but only expanded the #col1 100% of the view port (browser window) and was cut when I scrolled down.

Yes, I did. Now it's my turn, Did you READ my post?
I've mentioned that I'm not talking about the VIEW PORT I know that 100% should be written in all of the parent containers first but this is not what I am asking about as it's all over the internet!
What I want to do is to expand #col1 to be as tall as #col2 (the same height as the #content) because #col2 has much content while #col1 doesn't and again I'm not talking about the view port, I'm talking about the whole page with scroll. What is in your sticky is to use min-height instead of height, which means in simple English: if col1 is smaller than the VIEW PORT then expand it to be 100% of the VIEW PORT and if the content is more than the view port then expand enough for the content so the content does not over flow.
It doesn't say: if col1 doesn't have enough content to be as the container then expand it to be as high as the container (again, THE CONTAINER not the view port).
One short look at the site I've mentioned will tell you what I want because it looks ugly right now with #col1 doesn't expand to the bottom.

If this is covered in the sticky or if we are talking about different "stickies" please let me know
