It appears to be a difference in margin or padding on the left side that's causing the problem.

You have other issues in Firefox, the menu bar is all messed up and too far left, covering the phone number.

Since you used position:absolute on #menu, then you need position it with top and left rather than trying to push it around with margins.

What are those little red numbered boxes on the home page ? When you scroll the page in FF, the numbers appear to be fixed in position.

ok, so i took the margins out of #menu and used left and top to position it.
but where do i edit the settings for the header on the search page?
all the search page is doing is asking for the header to be included at the top, i cant find anything on search.php thats causing it...

This is why I struggle with CSS!!!!

As for the red boxes, theyre not supposed to move down the page!

supposed to be under "latest members" as a list. How can I sort this out?

Hadnt even got round to looking at it in FF yet...

Actually, the red boxes stay put and the rest of the page moves. Don't think that's want you want either

You really should add the background color on <body> - on my screen I see your content surrounded by pink (my default desktop bg color).

I'll look at it and see if I can find the problem.
