As we all know, perfecting CSS can be a mind bending experience. However after getting the hang of it, it becomes a rather easy thing to do. For new comers it can be frustrating to see your website break across browsers. I have compiled some resources specifically for these problems.

CSS Tips & Tricks Part 1 & Part 2
Yahoo User Interface Library
6 Keys To Understanding Modern CSS Layouts
CSS Listamatic
CSS Cheat Sheet
Block vs. Inline Level Elements

The most important thing is to read. You will not get anywhere without reading. Also I suggest getting a solid book. I would reccomend CSS Master by Andy Budd and Cascading Style Sheets by Hakon Wium Lie & Bert Bos

Good reccomendations, I'd add to the list w3Schools for beginners and HTML Dog for people who want valid, clean XHTML/CSS (I'd reccomend their book)

For sure! I would have added those, but I assumed basic css knowledge already. Altho those sites do cover advanced topics.

Nice collection of resources. I agree that reading is important and I recommend any of Eric Meyer's books. His site also has some good resources outside of the books.

I also want to point out that while reading is important in learning there's no substitute for doing. The only way to ultimately get better at building web pages with css is to actually build web pages with css.
