Firefox to MS Word Styles

I have a page with 10px fonts on screen. I have to get this pages data into a MS Word document. I do a ctrl+A in Firefox, then paste everything into Word. The pasted copy in Word is now 12px. How do i get it to stick at 10px?

When running the same steps in IE, it pastes into Word correctly at 10px.

My basic question is, how do i get FF to keep the 10px font size when pasting into Word? Thanks much.

Firefox ignores pixel font sizes, due to usability issues.

Why do you need to copy/paste in FF specifically? Why not just copy/paste in IE, since it works?

That is the funniest thing I have read today (granted it is 9:37am). It is normally the other way around. I don't see why you need to copy a website into word, that is kind of like putting a book into a shredder.

Firefox is quite standards compliant on the browser and so sites marked up correctly should display fine. If you take that markup out of its natural environment (the browser) and introduce it to a different environment of course you are going to get changes.

Totally agree with Jamie, including the laugh at the styles comment.
I would suggest you make your default Word font 10px, then it will probably work for you.

Dude, you're not going to find an answer to your question.

If it's that big a deal to you, then take another approach: generate the Word docs on the fly or have them supplied separately, rather than relying on users to copy and paste.
