Hi all,

I'm new to XHTML/CSS so I'm hoping there is a simple solution to this probelm that has been driving me mad for days.

Basically the probelm is when I click between pages on my site the whole page will shift over to the left and then back again when returning to the previous page.

The pages are constructed with nav down the left side and then content to the right. The nav is floated to the left and then the content has a left margin to push it over. The problem seems to occur when the right content is taller then the left nav, it dosen't wrap under the nav cos the margin it has herw is a stripped down version of the site.

i think the problem is simply,
on the second page there is not alot of content so there is no browser scroller bar, but on first page there is the browser scroll bar.
So when you go from page to page it looks like the page it being shifted but it is just the scroll bar being taken in and out.

Yep, that would be the reason, scrollbar and nothing else.

Thanks for that - I've been looking for a problem all day, I'll put it down to experience.
